How it works

How to use the Diablo 4 World Boss Timer

Find your next fight and leave enough time to get there.

1

Check the next spawn

Read the countdown and the exact local start time. If more than one encounter starts together, compare their boss and region cards before choosing where to travel.

2

Choose your boss and region

Filter the next 24 hours by the boss you want to fight and the region you can enter. The main countdown changes to the next event matching both filters.

3

Set a reminder

Choose 5, 15, or 30 minutes before spawn, enable the reminder, and send a test. Keep this page open, or import a calendar file to get an alert from your calendar app.

A D4 world boss timer built for planning

Local time, without the timezone math

UTC source times convert to your browser’s timezone. Choose a 12-hour or 24-hour clock; the countdown always uses the event’s actual timestamp.

Simultaneous encounters stay together

A single time slot can contain different bosses in different regions. Each encounter keeps its own boss and location, including regions supplied by future source updates.

Know what the schedule can tell you

Source-listed encounters and estimated times are labeled separately. The last retrieval time is visible, unknown details stay pending, and delayed data pauses reminders.

Getting to the fight

World boss locations and nearby waypoints

Use the event card’s region first, then look for its arena on the in-game map. The live tracker map opens on Helltides. Expansion arena and waypoint details are left pending when unavailable.

Fit a world boss into your play session

Check the next 24 hours before logging in. Compare the local start times with the time you have available, then filter for a boss or accessible region. When encounters overlap, the separate cards help you choose one destination. A slot with pending details is useful for planning time, but does not tell you where to travel.

Choose a reminder that fits your device

Browser and sound reminders suit a page left open while you play. Use the test button to check the alert before relying on it. A calendar file suits a phone or a short play session later in the day: import it and check your calendar’s notification settings. Revisit this timer before traveling because a downloaded calendar event cannot follow later schedule changes.

FAQ

Diablo 4 World Boss Timer FAQ

When is the next world boss in Diablo 4?

The main countdown shows the next upcoming world boss supplied by the community data source, together with its start time in your local timezone. If you select a boss or region filter, it shows the next matching event. When the source is unavailable, the tool says so instead of inventing a spawn.

How often do Diablo 4 world bosses spawn?

The regular schedule follows a 3-hour-30-minute interval. Blizzard announced this change for Season 2. This timer uses the source’s upcoming timestamps when available; fallback times use that interval from a recent live anchor and are labeled predicted. Special events and game updates can change the schedule, so check the in-game marker.

Does the world boss rotation include Azmodan?

Yes. Blizzard announced Azmodan as a permanent world boss on both Seasonal and Eternal realms. The filter includes Ashava, Avarice, Wandering Death, and Azmodan, and adds other boss names supplied by the source. Azmodan’s material-based summoning fight is separate from scheduled world boss spawns.

Why can two different world bosses appear at the same time?

The source can list multiple regional encounters for one start time. The timer displays them side by side and keeps them in the same schedule row. Use the region filter to plan for an area you can enter, and confirm your chosen fight on the in-game map.

Are the spawn time, boss, and location officially confirmed?

This is an independent tool using Helltides community data, not a Blizzard game-server feed. “Source listed” means the source supplied those details; “Predicted time” means only the time was extrapolated. A successful retrieval confirms the source was reachable, not that a player verified the encounter in-game.

Will reminders work after I close the page?

Page reminders stop when you close the page, and a suspended browser or sleeping device can delay them. Browser notifications require permission. To use your calendar app instead, save the calendar file, import it, and check its notification settings. The file includes your selected lead time, but saved events do not automatically update when the source changes.

Why are boss names or locations shown as pending?

If the full schedule is unreachable, the tool can fall back to the source’s public live feed. It shows the next listed encounter and estimates later times from the live anchor. It cannot infer later bosses or regions from a time interval, so those details remain pending. Specific boss or region filters exclude those unknown slots.

How do I test a reminder or fix blocked notifications?

Press Enable reminder and allow notifications when your browser asks, then press Test reminder. A message appears on this page; when allowed and supported, a system notification is also sent. If blocked, change the notification permission in your browser’s site settings. System Focus settings can suppress notifications. Calendar reminders are an alternative on devices without browser notification support.
